Our Mission
To enrich the educational experience of disadvantaged elementary school children in the Sarrat region within Ilocos Norte, Philippines through direct support to basic education. We believe that all students can achieve great things when given the opportunity and a fair chance. To have educational success, all kids should have access to items such as school supplies, books, backpacks and other educational materials.
Program Goals
In Sarrat, Ilocos Norte and the Philippines in general, many less fortunate children do not attend school due to poverty and having funds to purchase the necessary school materials. SarratKids! Connection's goal is to help the less fortunate children to stay in school by providing items such as backpacks, school supplies, tsinelas(slippers) and other basic educational needs. Through partnerships with the elementary schools in the Sarrat region we will increase student academic and social achievement. In addition, we will create a positive connection with the school and community to assist in addressing school, community and family needs.
